Mable Maria Sumlin, born Mable Maria Moses, was separated from her biological mother at just five days old and placed for adoption. Growing up, Mable discovered she was a foster child—a revelation that profoundly shaped her life. The challenges and hardships she faced didn't break her; instead, they forged her into the remarkable woman she is today.
Mable's mission in opening this center, with dreams of expanding globally, is to ensure that every child knows they have a chance, that they are loved, and that they have a supportive community behind them. She believes that providing youth with positive outlets, love, leadership, and even a simple hot meal can make a world of difference in their lives. "My passion and purpose have always been to give back," she says. "I know what it's like to feel alone. I understand because I've walked in their shoes. Love, peace, and happiness are the pillars we stand on, and we're committed to giving every child a chance. Making a difference is what truly matters."
